Custom hair patches
Made to a template of your own scalp and matched to the colour, wave and density of your hair, so the result reads as your hair rather than as an addition to it.
An unhurried, appointment-only conversation about custom hair patches and non-surgical hair systems in Bengaluru — including the water and climate questions people here actually ask.
American Hair Club Bengaluru
The people who come to us in Bengaluru tend to share a particular problem. They are on video calls for a large part of the working day, under overhead lighting that shows a thinning crown far more clearly than a mirror at home does. They have usually been researching for months, know the vocabulary, and want someone to tell them which of the options they have read about actually applies to them. A few have already tried a system elsewhere and found the upkeep did not survive contact with their week.
A consultation here is private and one-to-one, by appointment. We start by looking at your scalp and existing hair rather than at a catalogue, because the useful questions cannot be answered without that. How far has the pattern progressed. How much of your own hair remains around the area to blend into. Has the scalp been irritated by anything you have already tried.
From there, four factors decide the system. Where the hairline should sit, which determines whether the result looks like your hair or like a correction. How much density is believable — for a man in his thirties, the honest answer is usually less than he expects. Texture and wave, which have to match your own hair or the blend fails in daylight regardless of how good the colour match is. And the upkeep you will genuinely keep up with, which in Bengaluru means talking about water quality early rather than as an afterthought.
Mineral-heavy supply is the single most common aftercare complaint we hear in this city, and it affects some base types more than others. It is better to choose the system around that than to discover it three months in.

Personal care. Natural-looking confidence.
Our services
Each of these begins with an assessment of your own hair, not with a recommendation made in advance.

Made to a template of your own scalp and matched to the colour, wave and density of your hair, so the result reads as your hair rather than as an addition to it.

No surgery, no anaesthetic and no downtime. We explain each stage, what you will see immediately after the fitting, and what to expect over the months that follow.

From a first receding hairline through to full crown coverage, with base and attachment choices weighed against how much perspiration, travel and gym time your routine involves.

Coverage for a widening parting or overall thinning, designed to sit comfortably through a long working day and blend with your existing length.

An honest discussion about where the hairline should start and how much density looks natural for your age and face shape, including where more would be too much.

Guidance on cleaning, the effect of hard water, drying and storage, plus how servicing intervals are set so appointments can be planned around work.
The consultation
Four stages, around an hour, and nothing ordered until you have had time to think about it.
We look at the scalp and the hair you still have, in natural light rather than studio lighting, because that is the condition you will be seen in. If the pattern or the condition of the scalp suggests a medical opinion first, we will tell you that before anything else is discussed.
Where the hairline starts and how dense the system should be, judged against your age, face shape and how much of your own hair is left to blend into. If you have come in with a reference photograph that would not look right on you, this is where we say so.
Base material and attachment method chosen against how you actually live — video-call visibility, gym sessions, Outer Ring Road commute time, and what your water supply at home is like. Mineral-heavy water genuinely influences which base we would put you in.
You leave knowing what the system involves, what the aftercare routine looks like in practice, and how servicing will be scheduled. Custom systems are made to a template, so fitting is always a separate appointment booked later.
There is no published price list, and we would rather not quote one, because the figure depends on things we cannot see until you are in front of us. What changes it: the base material, whether the system is stock or custom-made, the density and grade of hair, the fixing method, and how frequently it will need servicing. You get a specific figure at the end of the consultation, before anything is ordered.
Hair fixing
Hair fixing, hair bonding and hair patch fitting all describe the attachment, not the system. It is the decision that most affects your day-to-day routine.
Clips to your remaining hair and comes off whenever you choose. Good if you want to try living with a system before committing to something more permanent, though it needs sufficient hair around the area and is not ideal for contact sport.
Medical-grade tape secures the base to the scalp. You can remove and reapply it at home once shown how. Tape life is shortened by perspiration and by residue from mineral-heavy water, so the rinsing routine matters more here than people expect.
The base is bonded to the scalp and stays on between services, so you sleep, shower and train in it. The most secure option and the least daily effort, at the cost of needing to come in for servicing rather than removing it yourself.
Attached to your own hair rather than to the skin. Suits people who still have reasonable density around the thinning area and would prefer nothing adhered to the scalp. Needs re-tightening as your hair grows.
Aftercare
The aftercare question we are asked most in this city is about water, and it deserves a straight answer.
Mineral-heavy supply can leave residue on a base and change how the hair feels over time. The effect varies by area and by base type. Tell us what your supply is like at home and we will suggest a rinsing and cleaning routine built around it rather than a generic one.
As your own hair grows the attachment point shifts, so the system needs refitting. The interval depends on your growth rate, the fixing method and your routine — it is set for you during the consultation rather than quoted as a general figure.
Old adhesive is cleared, the base and scalp are cleaned, and the system is re-secured. Routine planned upkeep for bonded and taped systems, booked in advance rather than dealt with when something starts to lift.
Bases thin and hair sheds with wear. Minor damage can often be repaired; eventually a system is replaced rather than serviced. We will tell you which of the two you are looking at rather than servicing something at the end of its life.
Why American Hair Club
Straight answers, a careful match, and no pressure to decide on the day.
Consultations are booked so that you have the studio and our attention to yourself while you talk things through.
Base type, hair colour, curl pattern and density are chosen against your own hair, in daylight, rather than from a catalogue image.
We describe what a system can and cannot do, and we will tell you if something you have seen online is unlikely to look right on you.
Cleaning and drying explained in terms of your actual supply at home, which is the aftercare issue people in Bengaluru run into most.
You are given a specific figure once the system is chosen, and told which decisions moved it.

It follows a set order. We look at your scalp and remaining hair, ask how long the thinning has been happening and what you have already tried, plan the hairline and density, then explain the base types and fixing methods that would suit you before discussing maintenance. You are not asked to commit on the day.
We do not publish prices, because a figure quoted without seeing your hair would not be reliable. Cost is driven by the base material, whether the system is stock or custom-made to a template, the density and hair grade, the fixing method, and your servicing schedule. You are given a specific figure at the consultation, before anything is ordered.
It is the question we are asked most often here. Mineral-heavy water can leave residue on a system and change how the hair feels over time, though the effect varies by area and by base type. Tell us what your water supply is like at home and we will suggest a rinsing and cleaning routine that works around it.
The hair patch is the system. Hair fixing and hair bonding describe how it is attached — clips, tape, bonding to the scalp, or weaving into your own hair. The patch decides how it looks; the fixing method decides how you live with it and how often you come in.
No. A hair patch is a wearable system, not a permanent implant. It needs periodic servicing and is eventually replaced. How long one lasts depends on the base material, how it is attached and how carefully it is looked after — we will give you an expected range for the specific system you choose rather than a general figure.
Yes. We work with women experiencing diffuse thinning or a widening parting as well as men with pattern hair loss. The approach is the same: a private assessment first, then options matched to your own hair length, colour and styling habits.
That is a normal position to be in, and it is a good reason to book a consultation rather than a reason to avoid one. Many people come in simply to understand what non-surgical hair replacement involves. There is no obligation to proceed.
