Custom hair patches
Each patch is prepared to a template of your own scalp and matched to your hair colour, texture and wave, so the parting falls where it should instead of being corrected afterwards.
Appointment-only consultations for men and women in Pune weighing up a custom hair patch or a non-surgical hair replacement system — with the trade-offs explained before anything is ordered.
American Hair Club Pune
Most people who contact us about a hair patch in Pune are in one of three situations. Some have a receding hairline or a thinning crown and want coverage now rather than in a year. Some have already been told they are not a strong candidate for a transplant. And some have worn a system before, were unhappy with how it looked or how much upkeep it needed, and want to understand what went wrong before trying again. All three are reasonable starting points, and all three need a different conversation.
A private consultation is exactly that — one-to-one, by appointment, with no other client in the studio. We look at your scalp and your existing hair in daylight before discussing any product. What we are assessing is the stage and pattern of your hair loss, where your hairline naturally sat, and how much of your own hair is still available to blend into. That last point matters more than most people expect: a system has to disappear into something.
Four things then decide which system is right for you. The hairline, because where it starts and how softly it is built is what people notice first. The density, because more is not automatically better — an overly dense system on a man in his forties reads as a wig. The texture and wave, because a base matched for colour but not for curl pattern never quite sits right. And the maintenance you are realistically willing to do, which is the factor people underestimate most often. Someone riding between Hinjawadi and Wakad in a helmet every day has different practical constraints from someone who mostly works from home.
That is why we would rather you speak to our team than pick a system from a description online. The same base material can be the right answer for one person and the wrong one for another.

Personal care. Natural-looking confidence.
Our services
Every service below starts with the same thing — a look at your own hair and scalp, and an honest conversation about what will and will not work.

Each patch is prepared to a template of your own scalp and matched to your hair colour, texture and wave, so the parting falls where it should instead of being corrected afterwards.

No surgery and no recovery period. We take you through what happens at each stage, how long the fitting appointment runs, and what changes about your daily routine afterwards.

Options for a receding hairline, crown thinning or a more advanced pattern, weighed against how visible your parting is and how much heat and helmet time your commute involves.

Discreet coverage for a widening parting or diffuse thinning, planned so it blends into your existing length and colour rather than sitting on top of it.

Time spent on where your hairline should sit and how much density actually looks believable, before anything is ordered. A lower, denser hairline is not always the more natural choice.

Practical advice on washing, drying, styling and storage, plus how servicing intervals are set, so you can plan visits around your working week.
The consultation
Four stages, roughly forty-five minutes to an hour, and no obligation to proceed at the end of it.
Scalp and existing hair examined in natural light — the pattern of loss, how much hair is available around the area to blend into, and whether the scalp looks settled. If anything suggests you should see a doctor before considering a system, we say so at this point rather than later.
We work out where your hairline should start for your face shape and age, and what density will read as believable. This is the stage where we will talk you out of a lower, heavier hairline if that is what you have asked for and we think it would draw attention.
Base material and attachment method are chosen against how you actually live — helmet hours on the Hinjawadi to Wakad run, gym sessions, how often you can get back for servicing. Two people with similar hair loss often leave with different recommendations for exactly this reason.
You leave with a clear picture of what is involved, what the upkeep looks like, and what happens at a fitting. Nothing is ordered on the day. A custom system has to be prepared, so fitting is always a separate, later appointment.
We do not publish a price list, because a figure quoted without seeing your hair would be a guess. What we can tell you is what moves it: the base material, whether the system is stock or made to a template of your scalp, the density and hair type you choose, the attachment method, and how often it will need servicing. All five are settled during the consultation, and you get a specific figure then — before anything is ordered.
Hair fixing
Hair fixing, hair bonding and hair patch fitting are different names for how the system is attached. The method changes the upkeep more than it changes the look.
The system clips to your existing hair and comes off whenever you want. The least committal option and the easiest to live with if you are unsure, but it needs enough of your own hair around the area to clip into, and it is not the choice for contact sport.
Medical-grade tape holds the base to the scalp. Removable at home once you have been shown how, and a common starting point for a first system. Heat and perspiration shorten how long a tape holds, which matters if you are in a helmet for a long stretch of most days.
The base is bonded to the scalp so the system stays on between services — you sleep, shower and train in it. The most secure option and the lowest daily effort, in exchange for coming in for servicing rather than removing it yourself.
The system is attached to your own hair rather than the scalp. Suits people who still have reasonable density around the thinning area and would rather nothing adhered to the skin. Needs re-tightening as your own hair grows out.
Aftercare
Most of what determines how long a system lasts happens between appointments, not at the fitting.
Gentle cleaning with products suited to your base type, and drying properly rather than leaving the system damp. If you sweat under a helmet on the commute, drying is the single habit that makes the most difference to how the attachment holds.
Your own hair grows, so the attachment point moves and the system needs refitting. How often depends on your growth rate, the method used and how hard your routine is on it — we set your schedule during the consultation rather than quoting a general figure.
For bonded and taped systems, the old adhesive is cleared, the scalp and base are cleaned, and the system is re-secured. This is routine upkeep, booked in advance, not a repair.
Bases thin and hair sheds with wear. Small damage can often be repaired; eventually a system is replaced rather than serviced. We will tell you honestly which of the two you are looking at rather than servicing something that has reached the end of its life.
Why American Hair Club
No pressure, no rush, and no commitment on the day you first walk in.
Appointments are spaced so you are not sharing the studio with another client while you talk about your hair.
Colour, texture, wave pattern and density are assessed against your existing hair rather than a standard shade card.
We will tell you when a lower hairline or heavier density would draw attention instead of avoiding it.
You will know what the routine involves and how your servicing schedule will be set before you decide anything.
You get a specific figure at the consultation, once we know which system you are choosing — not a headline price that changes later.
Questions
These are the points people raise most often before a first appointment in Pune. If yours is not here, bring it up on the day — no question is too basic.

Allow roughly forty-five minutes to an hour. That covers looking at your scalp and existing hair, planning the hairline and density, going through the base and fixing options that suit you, and answering your questions. If you decide to go ahead, the fitting is a separate appointment, because a custom system has to be prepared first.
We do not publish a price list, because a figure given without seeing your hair would be a guess. The cost depends on the base material, whether the system is stock or custom-made to a template of your scalp, the density and hair type, the attachment method, and your servicing schedule. All of those are settled at the consultation, and you are given a specific figure before anything is ordered.
The hair patch is the system itself. Hair fixing and hair bonding describe how it is attached — clips, tape, bonding to the scalp, or weaving into your own hair. People often use the terms interchangeably when searching, but they are different decisions: the patch determines how it looks, the fixing method determines how you live with it.
It suits many people, but not everyone, and it is not a medical treatment for the cause of hair loss. If your hair loss is sudden, patchy, or accompanied by scalp irritation, we would suggest seeing a doctor first. Our team will say so during the consultation if we think a hair system is not the right fit for you.
A well-matched system, fitted at a sensible density with the hairline in the right place, is designed to look natural in everyday settings. How convincing it looks depends on the match, the hairline placement and how well it is maintained, which is why we spend time on all three rather than promising a particular result.
The essentials are gentle cleaning, drying properly after you sweat, and keeping to your servicing schedule. If you commute on a two-wheeler and wear a helmet for long stretches, mention it at the consultation — it affects which attachment method we would suggest and how often the system needs attention.
Nothing is essential. It helps to arrive with clean, dry hair and, if you have them, a couple of photographs of how your hair looked before the thinning began. If you already wear a hair system, bring it with you so we can see what has and has not worked for you so far.
