Custom hair patches
Prepared to a template of your own scalp and matched to your colour, texture and wave, so the parting sits where it should rather than being corrected after fitting.
Private consultations in Visakhapatnam for anyone weighing up a custom hair patch or non-surgical hair replacement — with the coastal-climate questions answered before you choose a system.
American Hair Club Visakhapatnam
People come to us in Visakhapatnam with a specific worry on top of the usual ones. They have read that humidity and sea air are hard on a hair system, and they want to know whether that rules the option out before they invest in it. It does not — but it does change which system you should be in, and anyone who tells you the coast makes no difference is not being straight with you.
The consultation itself is private and by appointment. We look at your scalp and the hair you still have before discussing any product, because the pattern of loss and the amount of surrounding hair available to blend into determine what is realistic. Someone in the early stages of a receding hairline and someone with an established pattern at the crown need different answers, even if both arrived asking the same question.
Four things then shape the recommendation. The hairline, because a hairline built in the wrong place is the thing people notice, not the hair itself. The density, judged so the result is believable rather than impressive in a photograph. The texture and wave, matched against your own hair so the blend holds up in daylight — which on this coast also means holding up in humidity, when hair behaves differently from the way it does in a dry room. And the upkeep, which here has to account for salt deposits and sun as well as ordinary washing.
If you swim, or spend time on the beach road, or work outdoors, say so early in the conversation. It is one of the few things that genuinely narrows the shortlist of suitable attachment methods.

Personal care. Natural-looking confidence.
Our services
Each service starts with looking at your own hair and scalp, and an honest view of what suits a coastal routine.

Prepared to a template of your own scalp and matched to your colour, texture and wave, so the parting sits where it should rather than being corrected after fitting.

No surgery, no anaesthetic and no recovery period. We explain each stage, how long the fitting takes, and what changes about your routine afterwards.

From an early receding hairline to fuller crown coverage, with base and attachment choices weighed against sun exposure, sea swimming and how much you perspire through the day.

Discreet coverage for a widening parting or diffuse thinning, planned to blend with your existing length and to hold up in humidity.

Time spent on where the hairline should sit and how much density reads as natural for your age and face shape, before anything is ordered.

Cleaning, rinsing after sea water, drying and storage, plus how servicing intervals are set for a coastal routine.
The consultation
Four stages, roughly an hour, with the coastal questions dealt with properly rather than in passing.
We look at the pattern and stage of your hair loss and how much surrounding hair is available to blend into, in natural light. If the scalp looks irritated or the loss has been sudden, we will suggest seeing a doctor before going any further.
Where the hairline should start and how much density will look believable for your age and face shape. We will say plainly if the reference you have brought in would look overdone on you.
This is the stage that differs most here. Humidity affects how adhesives and tapes perform through the day, and salt air leaves deposits that shorten service intervals. If you swim or are outdoors a lot, that narrows the sensible options — better to know now than after the first monsoon.
You leave understanding the system, the aftercare it needs in this climate, and how servicing will be scheduled. Custom systems are made to a template, so fitting is a separate appointment arranged afterwards.
We do not publish prices. A figure given before seeing your hair would be a guess, and a misleading one. What sets it: the base material, whether the system is stock or made to a template of your scalp, the density and hair grade, the attachment method, and how often it will need servicing — which on the coast can differ from inland. You are given a specific figure at the consultation, before anything is ordered.
Hair fixing
Hair fixing, hair bonding and hair patch fitting describe how the system attaches. On the coast this choice matters more than it does inland.
Clips to your existing hair and comes off whenever you want, which makes rinsing and drying after a swim straightforward. Needs enough surrounding hair to clip into, and is not the option for anything active in water.
Medical-grade tape holds the base to the scalp and can be removed at home once you have been shown how. Humidity and perspiration both shorten how long a tape holds, so this is the method most affected by the local climate.
The base is bonded to the scalp and stays on between services, including while you shower and swim. The most secure option here, and usually the first one we discuss with anyone who spends time in the sea — in exchange for coming in for servicing rather than removing it yourself.
Attached to your own hair rather than the scalp, so nothing adheres to the skin. Suits people with reasonable remaining density who react to adhesives. Needs re-tightening as your own hair grows out.
Aftercare
Salt, sun and humidity all shorten the interval between services. Planning for that is most of the work.
Rinsing with fresh water soon after swimming, and drying the system properly rather than letting it dry in the sun, makes a noticeable difference to how long the hair and the attachment last. This is the single habit that matters most on this coast.
Your own hair grows and the attachment point moves, so the system needs refitting. Intervals here are often shorter than inland because of salt deposits — yours is set during the consultation rather than quoted as a general figure.
Old adhesive cleared, base and scalp cleaned, system re-secured. Routine planned upkeep for bonded and taped systems, and worth booking in advance during humid months rather than leaving until something lifts.
Bases thin and hair sheds with wear, and sun exposure can affect how the hair looks over time. Small damage can often be repaired; eventually a system is replaced rather than serviced, and we will tell you honestly which stage you are at.
Why American Hair Club
Honest answers about what a coastal climate does and does not rule out.
Consultations are scheduled one at a time, so you are not discussing your hair in a shared waiting area.
Swimming, sun exposure and humidity are factored into the base and attachment recommendation, not treated as details to sort out later.
Colour, texture, wave and density assessed against your existing hair in daylight rather than from a shade card.
You will know before deciding that service intervals on the coast can be shorter, and what that means for your schedule.
A specific figure once the system is chosen, with the decisions that moved it explained.

We do not publish a price list, because a figure quoted before seeing your hair would be unreliable. The cost depends on the base material, whether the system is stock or custom-made to a template, the density and hair grade, the fixing method, and your servicing schedule — which on the coast may be more frequent. You are given a specific figure at the consultation.
Humidity affects how the hair behaves and how an adhesive or tape performs through the day, and salt air can leave deposits that shorten the interval between services. None of this rules out a hair system — it means the base type, attachment method and cleaning routine should be chosen with the coast in mind from the start.
It depends on the attachment method, so please raise it at the consultation. As a general rule, bonded systems handle water better than tape, and rinsing with fresh water soon after swimming and drying the system properly makes a noticeable difference. We will tell you plainly what your particular system can and cannot handle.
The hair patch is the system itself. Hair fixing and hair bonding describe how it is attached — clips, tape, bonding to the scalp, or weaving into your own hair. The patch determines how it looks; the fixing method determines how it copes with swimming, humidity and your daily routine.
Servicing intervals vary with the attachment method, how quickly your own hair grows, and your daily routine — and on the coast, salt exposure can shorten them. Rather than quote a single figure, we set out a schedule for the specific system you choose during the consultation, so you can judge whether the upkeep fits your life before deciding.
There is no surgery, no anaesthetic and no incision involved, so you should not experience pain during a fitting. Some people find a new system feels unfamiliar for the first few days. If anything feels uncomfortable or irritating at any point, tell us — it usually means something needs adjusting.
